Where is everybody?
I've only seen Buculus, Nyctalus, Nahimana, Anaplian, Spiderspy, Rawrrz, Azbo, Bloodspear, Klemenp, Leanah and ofc one or two who I forgot.. There's a lot more people in the guild or are they all just alts?
I've also noticed that the forums have been quiet lately, where's everybody gone to?

Re: Where is everybody?
Well, most of the members seems to not be interested in joining us here for chat... I left MOTD on many ocasions trying to advertise our forums but doesn't seem to work well...
I'm bit quiet this week because of IRL stuff but will be here more next week
If you have any ideas how to drag peeps into here then fire away

Re: Where is everybody?
Well you all have your lives and that's more important than WoW of course. How to drag people to the forums, let's see... "sex leg at forums, go see it peeps!!" No but really I don't know. It's a bit different for people who can play a lot more, I can say that from experience as I used to play A LOT more. And because I did, I read the forums less (wow-europe forums ofc..) but now that I don't have so much time, I have more time to read the forums. I could ask the secret of the "Eternal Warriors" (my former Diablo 2/WoW guild), holy god EVERYONE'S on the forums and game there.

Re: Where is everybody?
I got bad experiences from Spore... The demo I downloaded contained a nasty trojan and I had to format my computer in order to get it removed.

Re: Where is everybody?
Basically you develop your own race of creatures. All the way from single cells to an entire population from what I understood.

Re: Where is everybody?
Well I think I could give it a try at some point. IF they release a demo where you can actually get to do something else than create creatures with way too limited options -.-

OOh man how doesnt it, imagine with what you would come up with!!
Sounds like fun to me (after all I am a nature oriented guy, and have red the Darwins famous book , so the evolution by my hand seems interesting to me ). But I realy dont need another time consuming thingy!

Re: Where is everybody?
In a finnish TV program, "tilt", they had a brief interview with one of Spore's developers and she said that within two weeks from the release of the Creature Editor they had already received approximately two million different kind of creatures from people all around the world
EDIT: two million sounds like too much, actually but I'm pretty sure that's what she said!

Re: Where is everybody?
I wouldn't be too surprised. By default anything you make is automatically uploaded into the "Sporepedia", which your game will periodically update itself from so you're always seeing new things. (By new things, I mean new and exciting variations on "giant penis monster.")
You start as a celled organism amidst a swarm of others, and depending on what "parts" you find (like new DNA fragments clinging to meteors or simply by eating other creatures), the next time you mate you get to improve your creature. (i.e. kill and eat something with better fins, mate and add them, now you can swim faster.)
Then eventually you grow legs and move to the creature stage, hunting and evolving until you gain true sentience and start to form tribal groups. Then as a tribe you either ally or kill other tribes until you grow into a civilisation, and start building cities/vehicles/planes/boats/etc. After you kill/convert/buy out all the other civs, you enter the space stage and get to mess around with other primitives and civilised.
It's pretty fun. Probably more so if you haven't been following the development over the years - it's a little bit of a let down considering all the things they "promised" along the way, but then I imagine at some point EA turned to Maxis and asked for a "game" instead of a "simulator".
Edit: http://www.spore.com/sporepedia currently has 18,541,627 uploaded creations.
