I was in the Hall of Legens this morning... man... I need honor!!! And marks...

Yes, you've guessed - I want some pvp stuff I don't want any armor yet as this can be easily replaced but this...:

I just need 24 more AV marks and... 40k honor to get them... I have all AB marks but only 9k of honor

This could be great gear to start in outlands... I have no shield at the moment and my 1h sword is for lvl47... and my 2h axe deals half (HALF) of the epic one damage...

I think I said it before somwhere but here it goes again quest rewards and instance drop in outland are insanly good. Youll get anything you need to survive there in first couple of running around and killing 58 mobs. Instances have great warrir plate drops. So regardin to your gear its not a problem all players face this and when they get there they gear up in menner of 5 or 6 quests.
As for your PvP fetish, you might consider if it is worth spending time in BG's!! Wotlk isnt far off and when it comes honor and marks will be reset. So if you dont have time to gather them I would advise againt it. If you can make it then ok why not. You know best what time you need to obtain that honor m8.
As for weapons you get this often in rampartshttp://www.wowhead.com/?item=24020. I tanked with it until 68 with no problem. All gear came from rewards and upgraded it a bit from instance runs.

Yeah, I know what you mean but the thing is I have no shield at the moment (I vendored my lvl33 shield the other day) and only shield which is good for my lvl costs 750g on AH... I might get better weapons and armor (I don't want pvp armor btw) but this shield... I doubt I'll get any good shield from q or inst drops straight away (and I even can't go to inst without a shield...)

Yeah was looking at that shield it is good. What do you think how many days of BG's will you need to get that shield?

PvP is better ofc but this one is fine to get you started.

To get 40k honour doing level 70 AV, takes 2 and half days.

To get 40k honour doing level 60 AV, takes a week? My point is that grinding honour * mite * not be anywere near as fast as the level 70 brackets.

Just do some AV's to test the win/loose rates, you should get an idea of time required.

But as Nyc has said - The gear you get from questing and doing instances, will be all you need to tank and level with.

As rawrrz will say - Your not expected to have awesome gear or be Prott to tank.

Thanks for your comments lads I have at the moment 41AB marks, 31WSG marks and 16AV marks with 9800 honor to spend. For shield I need 20AB marks and ca. 12.5k honor which means I only need like 2.8-3k honor to grind. With daily q and few succesfull AV runs I should get it in one evening And might have enough marks for pvp mount too Well, actually will be 9 marks short (AB ones) but this is only 3AB runs to get them If I manage to get to 12.5k honor and grind 9 more AB marks I'll have both shield and mount and no marks or honor left to tempt me to another pvp grinding sessions

Ah, we will see I'm not pushed to do this straight away so might go with Nahi to Outlands to see how it goes and in the mean time will run AV whenever I have a chance to get this 3k honor Shoulnd't take more than 6-7 succesful runs

Dont bother getting these level 60 weapons/sheilds etc.

They will be replaced as soon as you step into outlands pretty much and at alot minimum effort.
Plus that axe isnt great for tanking.
You would waste alot of time, effort, honor and marks that can all be put to better use at level 70 (:

So get to outlands asap

Heh, you might be right but then if I wait till 70 the WotLK will be out and new stuff in Northrend will be probably much better than these lvl70 epics (same as with lvl60 epics and Outlands) and if I lvl further all my marks/honor will be reset anyway Ahhh - we will see I'm planning to go to outland anyway and if I manage to get this few more marks - fine If not - not a big deal

True, but better to get leveling to 70 then use ya honor, than waste time getting honor now and not getting 70 before WotLK

Outland's quest rewards are insane, go there, get them, enjoy. No need to farm for PvP rewards before level 70.

EDIT: The only exception is the PvP trinket, get it. GET IT NAO!

Yeah An hour in outlands and I have replaced my legs, chest & head armor together with new 2h axe and nice shield hehehe great stuff

Anyhow - thanks to your link I found the proper one 5min cd is not great but good in emergencies

This one is 'Insignia of the Horde' and it's class specific There's one for each class though. Later on you can use it together with the one you linked above but they share cd... The other one (lvl70) has 2min cd only ^^
