Scarlet Monastery

We have cleared two parts of Scarlet Monastery yesterday:

Library - Kitchi(DPS), Perspyro(DPS), Nahimana(Healer), Zevra(DPS), Buculus(Tank)

Graveyard - Akaris(Healer), Perspyro(DPS), Nahimana(DPS), Zevra(DPS), Buculus(Tank)

I was thinking about moving onto Armory and Cathedral tonight I'm not sure if we are high enough for Cathedral where bosses are lvl40 elite but we can probably clear Armory without any major problems (bosses 37elite). Armory is shorter than Library but bit harder. We should be ok. Cathedral is the shortest and the hardest part of SM. Usually lvl40+ are recommended to run it but I think it's always worth to try

Anyway - who's up for it tonight? We will start with Armory and then can move on to Cathedral and see how it goes

Alternatively we can run RFD which is the same lvl as Armory

I have some work I need to do from 19:00 tongiht which will probably last an hour or two minimum. So I probably won't be able to make it - I may well be logged on - but I won't be active.

If thing's go well and I get finished in time to run I'm on for it though , just don't wait about for me specifically.

What time zone you're in? I probably won't be ready for this run before 8pm server time I think (which is 7pm local time here - 11am at the moment)

As far as I remember Perspyro is from UK, so that's the same zone as ours Hun.

Armory you can easierly do.
Cath you could do too, with some CC and good team work its easy.
I 3 manned the boss the other week, I was levle 35 I think, rogue level 37 and pala level 40 or so.
Was easy even though the damn pala was dps the wrong boss xD

I hope we will clear it without any major issues

That's what we were doing yesterday I was pulling and running back to others down the corridor to finish them off without adds

as there are so many mobs in there and ones that run!

Need to check what instance has some good loot for me now, i REALLY need to get some instance gear, as all mines either from WC or quests so its pretty outdated

Check drops in RFD on wowhead. I remember some nice cloth drops there when I was there with pug. I got there a very nice blue plate helm for lvl40 (sits in the bank ) and one blue 1h axe for 37

EDIT: It seems that there's only belt for clothies... Strange Was quite sure I've seen some nice cloth drops there

Yeah I remember some kinda cloth chest from the last boss, cant remember how great it is for priests though.

I haven't checked loot in SM yet My main focus is to get this 2h axe for warrior q Only 7 more burning charms and I'll face this lvl40 elite

As to the loot in SM - apart from Scarlet chain and nice shoulders there's not much for me Already have nice blue helm from RFK and another one (plate) sitting in the bank which I'll put on my head in 3lvls (almost 37 now - hope to ding tonight in inst) There's great plate chest armor in RFD for warrior I'm in SM mainly for fun as there's loads of leather/cloth drops and not that much mail. Having said that I hope herod will drop this blue mail shoulders for me tonight if we get that far

I am just trying to finish up all my greens quests atm (:
In Dustwallow Marsh atm.

I'm trying to focus more on plate drops at this stage as I'll get to lvl40 shortly and hopefully leave all mail stuff behind I can craft some plate armor as a blacksmith (mithril pants, shoulders, etc.) but all these items have only +stamina on them which is not great... I already have helm and if I manage to get this chest piece from RFD before I ding 40 I'll have nice start with plate

Having said that I still hope to get this Herod's shoulders

But obviously you cant change all ya mail right away as plate drops are less about than mail atm ^^
Those shoulders are still ace so
Theres some nice plate ones from ZF thats around levle 44-46 I think.

That's what I've done on my ally hunter before As soon as I dinged 40 I run to AH and got all mail stuff with +agi straight away Spent like 200g on it but had loads of gold and was already after buying my mount (which was around 100g at the time) so it was not that bad Now I know it was waste of g I won't do it again as it's not worth it

Heheh - some leather has better stats for pvp, that's true Plate is great for tanking but usually has no stats usefull for pvp

I said PvE not pvp

at least for dps that is, because you wont get hit so the armor from plate doesnt matter.

are meant to be the best pre kara (or at least were) for dps warriors...even hunters etc.

But it's the same for pvp twinks You will usually get different mixes of armor classes with useable stats and enchants At lvl 70 when you get gladiator stuff it's probably no longer worth it

DPS is more fun I think I have some hard time tanking when every one is hitting different mobs and I have to run around taunting them back When we get to high lvl instances some clothie might get one shotted at some stage On the top of this people getting aggro are running away or fighting mob back instead of running to me so that I could taunt them Heheh - that's it for off top I'd love to switch to dps sometimes and then blame tank for wipes hehehe

Oh god yes I love fury dps its so much fun.
But I must say I am I very good tank too but would rather dps, but one of the mats for making my Tier 2 axe used to only drop from Heroics and the easiest way to get groups for me was to be prot, have some quite nice tanking gear tbh

Going back to instances, ive always hated Uldaman, think it must be because of a bad experience there or something, but just checked the loot and there are some REALLY nice priest stuff there!!

Good stuff If you decide to roll this warrior we could then switch between dps and tank between us heheheeh

Uldaman has some nice drops but it's for mid40 so I need at least 8-9 lvls more before I go there You probably will get to this lvl next week I remember when I was there for the first time wondering what the hell is behind this big door Hehehe - big girl it was
