Small WoW guide :)
Here's a bit of advice to WoW players Please feel free to add your comments
What to do first?
First of all get yourself Quest Helper and maybe Better Quest if you feel you'll like it. It will not only show you where you have to go but also when you move a pointer on the mob it will show you what you have to loot from it for which q. I had a situations when I was killing some mobs with similar name for hours and sweraing that drop rate is ridiculous before I realised it was wrong mob
Don't run back with every quest which you have just finished Get all the quests in the area to your quest log and start traveling. It's good to have your heartstone set in the place where you took the q so that you could come back there easily and rest when you go off line. When you have all the quests run around the area, explore the world and fight every mob that yields experience (mob's lvl in his protrait must be green, yellow or orange - grey lvl colour means no xp and red means that the mob will be very hard to kill). This will boost your xp and give you a chance to train your weapon skills. When you have all the quests done in the area get back and turn them in. Then empty your bags. All greay stuff (name of the item is in grey) should go to vendor. Some of the white items are for proffesions and sell for good money on Auction House. Any green, blue or purple item usually sells for at least 10 times vendor price if you put it on AH. If you need some advice on AH itself give us a shout When you have your bags empty go and buy yourself some potions, food, drink and repair armor. Now you are ready either to move to new area or to do follow ups (sometimes when you turn in the q you get another one which is a continuation of the one you have turned in).
When you log off always go to city or inn. You will get 'rested' xp. Your xp bar will change colour to blue and you will have indicated on your xp bar to which place this blue bar will last. When you kill mobs when rested you will get twice as much xp. Remember that turning in quests will 'move' your rested xp mark by the value of xp you got for this q so don't be afraid of turning in the q and loosing rested xp. Rested xp will be 'consumed' only by the xp got from killing the mobs.
Get yourself bigger bags (as big as you can afford) to allow you to run around without a need of going back to vendor/AH every half an hour. Don't throw away stuff if your bags are not full. Every piece of crap is worth something at vendor and this can cover your food/drink cost
Get two gathering proffesions to start with as these are great money makers. Never, ever sell any of the gathered stuff to vendor!!! He'll pay you nothing. If you have stack of copper ore vendor may pay you 10s when on AH you will get like 3g for it! Same with herbs and leather. Just remeber that low lvl skins sell cheap on this server. It get's better later on though. When you pick gathering proffesions it's wise to have mining/skinnin or herbalism/skinning. Herbalism/mining is not recommended as you can track on your mini-map only one of them (either herbs or veins). Btw-there's a tracker which will allow you to see herbs/veins around you as yellow spots on the mini-map. This should give you some nice amount of gold in no time.
Every two levels (4,6,8,10 and so on) visit your class trainer and learn new skills. This will boost your damage and killing speed. Also decide which specialization in talent tree you are going for and think twice before you distrbute your talent points (this trees are avaliable when you ding lvl 10). If you're in doubt - ask If you mess them up - don't worry. You can 'reset' them but it will cost gold so it's better to do it right first time Both new skills and talent points will increase your killing speed and sometimes survivality
Try to keep your armor up to date but don't pay crazy money on ah. When you see something nice for few g it's always good to get it (if it suits your class) if you can afford it. If you are not sure what stats your armor should have - ask and we will try to help Same with weapons Sometimes your stats will depend on the spec (talent tree) so don't waste your gold on useless items (like for example something with +intelect for warrior).
Remember that all green/blue/purple items will be either BOP (bind on pick up) or BOE (bind on equip). When item becomes soulbound (either by picking it up or by equiping it) it can not be sold on AH, traded to other player or send by mail. It can ONLY be vendored so be careful before you put somting on just to see how it looks on you To see how it looks press Alt and left mouse button on the item and it will show you this item on you in small window on the screen.
Don't focus only on your quest. Enjoy this game when questing and leveling. Explore the world, kill mobs, pvp with enemy players and so on XP will come in no time Just stick to few basic rules and that's it

Re: Small WoW guide :)
Also get auctioneer add-on. Learn the shifts of server AH. And browse it/scan it randomly as possible. Look for blue (or purple if you are insanely lucky) items that are cheap (3-4 gold). Items of these colors are rare and considered "twink items" and they are among the best for a given level. So buy them low and sell them high up to 150 or even higher amounts of gold, also if they drop dont use them, much better to sell them at AH.Buculus wrote:

Buc, one word Awsome! Realease and unofficial guide
Heres a link to a page that I found that explains the basics of talents.
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/index.html
To all newcommers I advise reading this and then asking for reccomendations from everyone as to which trees to follow
Massive Respect!
