New Vent info update:
IP: 194.237.240.10
Port: 3788
Password: buculus
Well me Pers and Tes has tested vent so far and we are waiting for the rest of you so her is a small guid i put togheter.
Ok first you have to chose a "User name" i the first row this will pop up when you go online.
On the second row "Server" you will have to put in the server info needed. Just put in "Hostname or IP" and "Port number" like i did.... In "Select" you put in whatever you would like the channel to be cald it dose not matter.
When your done whit this just close the windows by klicking "OK" and then press the top Button or "Connect" Button (in this imige is "Disconnect" sins im already online whit Pers). Then your in....
For settings press the 4 buton or "setup" butten. and se next imige
Her ther is 3 main things to setup. the first is the "Hotkey" this is the key you need to push down on to speak. If you want to change it, simply move the mouse over the area and press the key you like to use. In my case its my 3 mouse button. Now if you have trouble hearing someone or we tell you that we cant here you or that your to laude you can chane the volym of your voice ("Outbound") and our vioces ("Inbound").
And remember if you havenīt used a mick before thers some settings for that to under your "control panel" if you have a PC, on mac i dont knowe. You might alsaw have to turn your mick on in the "Volym" ikon in the lower left conner next to the clock. Althow all this none Vent settings might vary depending on the computer mac/PC or system Vista/XP you run...
And remaber you have to use Vent 3.0.0 or newer for vent to work...
Hope this help you and remember if you havenīt used vent before dont be shy or feel strest out you dont have to talk all the time only when you want to....

Re: How to get on Vent
Probably will, yeah. Is it possible to create several "rooms" or something for each group if there are more than one group doing instances at the same time?
Anyways, I downloaded Vent yesterday and will install it today. Thanks for clearing how to setup the volumes, last time I had some trouble with them and I (actual quote) "sounded like I was yelling in a submarine" I'll try to talk a bit more this time, I'm usually a bit more shy on vent

Re: How to get on Vent
I'm having trouble connecting to Vent.
I've downloaded the program and installed it (version 3.0.5), and then set it up as indicated...that is:
IP: 85.236.100.19
Port: 32984
When I press "Connect" the status message does not change from "MSG: Contacting Server"
Now I've tried using the tool on the ventrilo website:
http://www.ventrilo.com/status.php
entering the same IP and Port, and I get the message:
"Ventrilo server is not responding"
Could it be a problem on my part? (since everyone else seems to have no problem connecting)
or is it something else?

Re: How to get on Vent
It's because Lea is a slacker and haven't changed info in here after we got new vent.
Correct info is:
IP: 194.237.240.10
Port: 3788
Password: buculus
not sure about password, but you can see it ingame under guild information

Re: How to get on Vent
To my defence i was not slacking.. I accualy thought we could have the info in game so only guildis could get to it instead of in the forum where everyone can get to it... Although that is maybee overly causious of me... If we get any unvanted pepoul on the server we just change the password...
