Guild Ranks

Well, you asked.

Initiate=Cookie on Trial
Member=Regular Rider
Veteran=Dragon Rider
Leader=Overlord Rider

Officer (normal)=Officer (soooo inventive )
PvP Officer=well, you get the picture..., so on and so forth with officers

Alt=Evil Clone
Banker=ridesformoney

Also I have an idea of class leader, they are slightly below officers, but people in the guild playing that specific class come to them for help if they are stuck.

Is this Leader rank you have on the list a Class Leader rank? If not, what kind of duties this person will have? I understand Member - Veteran - Officer and Class Leader in beteen but what would be the difference between Officer and Leader?

I like most of them The only thing for now is that we are bit short of people to implement all these ranks effectively if you know what I mean

For now we could start with:

Initiate=Cookie on Trial or just Fish
Member=Regular Rider or Doomed Rider or just Rider
Veteran=Dragon Rider or Overlord Rider if we will leave out Leader rank for the time being
PvP Officer
Officer (I think this should be considered as PvE Officer)
Alt=Evil Clone
Banker=ridesformoney or Gold Keeper
Guild Master (or something different)

Bank = Bank.
Alt = " Jinkei's Minion - Buculus's Minion " etc.
Initiate = lil' Rider.
Member = Full Hogger'
Veteran = Veteran rider.
Officer = Pro rider.
Guild master = Master Hogger'
Nahi = Queen Hogger'.

pve officer= Raid leader

GM= Supreme leader

The class leader idea sounds good. It's easier to just whisper your class leader and ask something than to go to the forums and search through the stickies. But then how do we decide who gets the class leader title?

Member = Doomed Rider

Guild Master = Overlord
PvE officer = Commander
PvP officer = Warlord

Ok... let's try to put it all together

Btw - Akaris, I can't put alts as Jiknei's Minion, Buculus's Minion and so on as it would require separate rank for every player who has alt Rank covers for group and have one name for all characters in it. If we want to have Jinkei's Minion and then Buculus's Minion these are already two new ranks so we could end up with 10+ new ranks just to cover alts Of course all your or mine alts can be covered by one rank (Jinkei's Minion will cover for all your alts) but we would need special rank for each main so it would get very messy

Is everyone happy with following ranks:

Initiate=Cookie on Trial
Alt=Evil Clone
Member=Doomed Rider
Veteran=Dragon Rider
Banker=Banker
PvE Officer=Doom Bringer
PvP Officer=High Warlord
Class Leader=<class name> Master

Any ideas how to figure who gets the class leader ranks? Obviously they have to know a lot about the class so maybe a test of some kind?

in this situation would it not be better for the two experienced players to talk it out and decide which one they think is best? Or could they both have the role as it would increase the odds of one of them being online when someone needs their help. Also as has been mentioned before, no one knows EVERYTHING...

It's true that no one knows everything but one can know pretty damn much. After all it's just a rank and new players can ask any of the higher levels for help and they're likely to get their question answered

In my opinion its getting complicated - Guild ranks should effect the person based on the guild.

Example.

Player 1 - This person has been in the guild since the start. Say, 6 months. And has been playing for 10 months.

Player 2 - This person has been on the guild for 6 days. And has been playing the game for 3+ years, has cleared all the content. etc etc.

The ranks should effect the person's standing in the guild.

Player 1 and 2's alts should be kept as " alts ". Reguardless of main character standings.

You are right though. I guess we won't even have to discuss about the case that player A has been in the guild since the beginning and has a level X character and doesn't know anything about it.. Unlikely, simply put.
