Arena team

But as prot I am lame. Was In WSG yestrday and was going for 1 on 1 with Drenai shammy: I didnt get him down for more then 5 % of his HP while he gradualy killed me off

That's how it goes when you have two people built to survive and only one of them can replenish their health in combat. ^^ The beauty of shamans is also that everytime you hit them, they get ~500 mana back (watershield)

Your only hope would be to either stunlock him or burst him down during a stun. Also a good thing to remember: if you pummel a shaman's spell, they're gonna STAY silent for a while because shamans only have one spell school!

Ifs its 2v2 the shamy will have earth shield up to prevent being focused and killed straight off the bat.

So all you do is force the shaman to heal. Keep the pressure on his partner, while keeping the shaman in combat ( Last thing you want is for him to drink. Think its still possible to drink in arena ), forcing the shaman to heal his partner will result in the shaman swoping shields to water shield to regain mana.

So you can either...

1, try nuke the shaman down once water shield is up.

2, drag the shaman's partner away from him and nuke him down while the shaman is occupied drinking/regening.

Either way the shaman will swop shields at about 30/40% mana - Swoping at too little mana means he's likely to get focused and killed, by the lack of mana to heal himself with.

Buc says duals are here in week or so! I have gathered nearly enough badges for my blue PvP set (there is link up there somewhere). So lets make up those arena team names and all other fun PvP stuff!!

So far we have:

Team 1: Heavyhoof, Gredeth, Teshija
Team 2: Heavyhoof, Gredeth, Teshija, Leanah, Temple

WTB 2 Loken axes if not I am stuck with Titansteel destroyers

Well - it's not 100% sure whether it'll be week or 2 weeks or even 3 weeks if it'll turn out that their new stuff is screwed up (items manager is causing a lot of probles on PTRs atm) But sure - we could try to put something together I don't have enough emblems for any pvp gear as I have to buy last pieces of my pve stuff first but I think I'll just craft myself the savage set instead I only have one hateful gladiator pants on Heavy and that's it

As to Titansteel Destroyers - they are unique equipped so you can't DW them. You can have only 1 of them equipped.

Anyways I got my set! Now to go farming emblems and loot in instances for DPS gear!

I'll start puting set together (for Heavy) as well So far I have hateful pants and emblems to buy hateful shoulders. Chest and gloves will have to be savage ones and helm probably the same. Not sure if there are any pvp boots and belts so I might just craft them on Buc (savage pvp craftable blues). This should give me nice start Weapon is already good enough (Jawbone).

I'll only need emblems for helm (have enough for chest and gloves) and need to find out whether there are any boots & belts as I haven't seen them at emblems vendors. Might check vendors in orgri Probably boots and belts are there to buy for honor/marks

Only problem is 3.1.0 still have tons of bugs to sort out Looks like I was too optimistic hoping to see it in a week or two..

However; i read somwhere they took off these items for sale that they were there only for testing purpose, will have to check it.. Only 15 WG marks BTW.

Looks nice and cheap I might run few WGs every now and then to get marks
