Tell me how to gear a hunter

Apart from "get more agility", I'm not really sure what I should be building for here. I've been reading about some common "not quite high-end" pieces for Hunters, and yet most of them seem to be lacking agility entirely.

Dragonscale Leatherworking, for example, has things like Dragonstrike Leggings which I'd be able to craft soon, but is all Stamina and Intellect. Most of the Hunter mail pieces seem to be the same. Are they relying on the +crit and +RAP coming from the bonuses to make up for the lack of agility? Is the extra HP simply more important later on?

That was always problem with leatherworking and hunters - only very few items there are useable or have proper stats. Only way around it is to either get drops/pvp gear (which usually have agi) or buy from AH... Unless you can afford agi enchants on your armor but I wouldn't do this untill lvl70 when you have your final gear completed Apart from agi focus on crits and intelect+stam as well as you'll be using loads of mana for your shots My hunter used to have more mana than hp If you manage to kite enemies around you'll be ok Problem might be with casters

+40 agility points for 60 WSG and 20 AB marks, either usable right now or next level. No "core" body pieces either so maybe some mail would be okay there after all. Hmmmmm....

The intellect thing I might have to go for more too, after a good fight I almost always have to drink, even in instances.

These are nice bits but almost no intelect on them so you would need to focus on it when getting chest, legs and gloves Maybe some ring and necklace too And helm If you get nice other bits with some agi as well then you should be sorted I still need 10 more WSG marks to get these nice purple bracers for myself Already have ring, boots (plate) and belt (plate). Bracers are plate too so basically all this stuff is for me for lvl40 Next upgrade is at lvl48 which is handy as I'll be running more battlegrounds then I was also looking at trinket and necklace but might give up on this Time to move on to 40

Pretty much like this. But you cant have it always like this, so you improvise with drops, and dont spend too much money on items from AH. I have loads of gold and tried to find anything, sadly no equipment too good to buy, found a blue bow yestrday and was around 130 g I bealive. Im not paying for that, no way.

psst... by the way PvP shoulder+head+boots/gloves+ valnos longbow is a pretty nice start got some ok stats on it if gemmed with +hit (lvl 70 ofc )
