Naxx raid tomorrow 9/7

We talkt yesteday about doing a Naxx 10 man run. So far we are Me, Bere/Elv, Happy, Moo im not sure what the rest of you said... . Anyhow this will be a spur of the moment thing but Plz post if you want to come so we dont use any unnessasery pug.... Anyhow i sugest we start earlier say 6 am. Is that ok for everyone...? Plz post if any other time suites you better and we can see if we can change it. However sins Moo an happy are runing away to the wedding on friday....... We will not be able to continjuing it later on unless we find more players so the earlier the better.

Who knowes if we are enough online tonight we might cleare some tonight as well...

Well I am on a trip tommorow, and will be most likley offline till monday. If I jump on it will be from mobile link, so no raiding for me.

Will check with the girlfriend when she gets home from work.. For some reason she has a habit of planning stuff for me in my vacation..

btw Elverpalle's unbuffed stats right now are:
Health: 28814
Strength: 926
Armor: 23308
Defense: 548
Dodge: 19.22%
Parry: 17.58%
Block: 10.92%

Should be very close to raid tanking ? If it is, I can go help out if we need tank, but as always - prefer Beregen.

However Beregen only need 1 item from plague quarter (Loatheb) and no items from military, so I could switch with someone who needs it more for parts Naxx.. Smile

Well switching is always viable option. Lord knows we did it many times.

Raid stats: All excellent except dodge/parry/block

You sum up around 47% I bealive and you absolutly need 60% otherwise bosses like anubrekhan will have you for breakfest if healers are not 100% (and I do mean 100%) here up to the task. Thing is if you are silenced and healers are too you cannot do anything but take the hits and dodge/parry/block which your 47% does not cut.
Take some HP gems out rather and put on some avoidance stuff!

Or better yet you can keep defense a bit lower, Its a vicious circle there and it gets worse when you have to build expertise and to hit. Makes your head spin.

Dont touch that trinket. DOnt know, ill check your armory and get you some more concrete thoughts.

Ok basicly you still have mostly blue stuff from heroics that stacks a lot of HP and DEF while leaving avoidance and block left behind. Now you need to work on that.
Leave trinkets until you can buy emblems one then kick monarch crab for that one. Cape is good until you can get 213 one or higher. If I am not mistaken and I could be here there is a better meta tanking gem for head slot that the one you are currently having (my armory shows PvP gear so cant have a speed check on it). Next ditch all defense rating enchantments and gems: basicly you need it to be 540 (keep it around 542-3). Put mixed gems on (green, oranges, purples that give you stamina + avoidance or block bonus). Kill defense rating from chest and put stats on (some prefer health but I keeps stats) for wide array of bonuses - stamina, stranght and agility spread out better on overall stats then just health or defense rate.

You can also kill some stamina gems for dodge or block ones.

Also you can jump in HoL first boss drops good tanking shoulder which yu will keep till tier ones.

All in all I think You would be ok for OT in Nax for trash but I would still hold back on bosses.

Some thoughts:

Didn't notice there were shoulders in HoL. Had my mind set on the shoulders from gundrak, but I will check which ones are better.. Also I still need an item from Azjol-Nerub before I got all the heroics stuff..

Don't think I can remove more than 1 defense gem and still keep above 540 defense rating though..

Here is the usefull site with exact number values of rating/skill ratios so you can toy around on paper before you spend tons of gold!!

Me and Happy are definitly in for tomorrow, although Happy would prefer to be dps for once :-P Evening time would be best, say about 5pm GMT (uk time), which I think is 6pm WoW time. Can probably squeeze in a few hours on friday aswell but will have to come off at around 8pm WoW time due to family visiting.
