Amber Void & Emerald Void tactics
Updated 16th November 2009
After our great tries today on this I just wanted to post some of the tactics we've found out. Might be a help to other. Some of it is copied from wowhead though.
All 5 players should take Amber drakes for this achievement ofc, Amber is the bronze one that looks like the cos timed drake.
The abilities of this drake is:
Button 1: Shock Lance (60 yds) - Instant - Deals 4822 to 5602 Arcane damage and detonates all Shock Charges on an enemy dragon. Damage is increased by 6525 for each detonated.
Button 2: Stop Time - Instant - 1 min cooldown - Halts the passage of time, freezing all enemy dragons in place for 10 sec. This attack applies 5 Shock Charges to each affected target.
Button 3: Temporal Rift (60 yds) - Channeled - Channels a temporal rift on an enemy dragon for 10 sec. While trapped in the rift, all damage done to the target is increased by 100%. In addition, for every 15,000 damage done to a target affected by Temporal Rift, 1 Shock Charge is generated.
Tactics:
The main thing is to keep Eregos, the boss, incapacitated for as long time as possible. Therefore you have to set up a list of time-stops: who goes first, second, third and so forth.. You have to be aware though after 3 time-stops Eregos will be immune to time-stop, but he can be affected by it again after shifthing phase. You want to put 3rd timestop close to shifting phase, because this will prevent Eregos from spawning adds. When Eregos goes into shifting phase you can fly away as in the video, but often it will be more succesfull if you fly in a clock rotation around Eregos, because you wanna be as close to Eregos as possible when shifting ends and you can do dmg again.
After time-stops the most important thing to this fight is the rotation, you need to maximize your dps to the fullest. You should do 1 temporal rift putting shock charges on Eregos, when you have 10 stacks on him you do 1 (AND ONLY 1!) shock lance and then go back to temporal rift and put another 10 charges on boss before you do shock lance again, simply repeat. The 1 shock lance you cast on him will if you have 10 charges on boss hit him for about 167k-200k dmg. This means if all stays alive the whole fight it should be enough with 6 of these shock lances (on full charge) from each drake. You can assign a person to attack whelps and kite them around if you like, but we got him down by mostly ignoring whelps and kiting the few around that followed each of us.
It is worth mentioning that if you have a priest in group he can actually buff your drakes before pull, putting their stamina all the way up to 118k-125k. Paladin can also do BOK on drakes for a little stamina boost. These classes can also buff their own drakes if they target them and cast buff RIGHT BEFORE they mount.
Also it is possible to miss your hits on boss if you're healer for instance, so if you have dps or tank gear with hit rating you should change to this before you mount up. Your drake's health scales on item level of your gear meaning that you might loose some health on this, but it will increase your dps, which in my opinion is more important to the fight

Re: Amber Void & Emerald Void tactics
We managed to do this yesterday just before midnight.
Group was:
Høegnisse

I've updated tactics with to the way we did it.. It's tough and don't expect to do this on first try
